How many PCs do you own?

We have 3 PCs in the living room(we call it a living room but it's more like a lan cafe with a sofa and a TV ), another PC in the living room configured as a media server which we run our TV, MP3s, DVD through and use as storage. One PC in the bedroom for midnight web browsing. They are all networked with net connection. Next on my list of things I want is a laptop or 2 then I can get my net fix without even getting out of bed

This is upon on Your need any hobby if you collect computer as a hobby so you must have Window,s pc/ a notebook / a mac machine / a linux server / a os x machine and if you have what you need that,s better

Dang If I had the money I'd have that many PC's, heck I'd have enough to run servers for my favourite games and enough for all my friends to have a lan party without bringing theirs over.

But sadly, I have one.

I have just one pc and want to get one new one so that I would not need to update that for a 2 to 3 year and work 4 me fine. But don’t have $ yet to get the new one

I have two PCs, an old IMac and a laptop. I really probably could downsize. I'd love a flat screen fruity-colored newer Mac with dual environments. I get to dream, right? Anyway, I never seem to have issues with my Mac despite it's age (6 years, which is like 150 in computer years?) With my PC's I often have issues and have tried taking steps to remedy them. Like recently, I lost a whole bunch of data thanks to a huge computer "crash." I have since installed StompSoft's PC BackUp http://www.stompsoft.com/pc-backup/pc-backup.html to back up my important files. But I never have issues with my Mac. Luckily, with some intervention my PC issues are manageable with software such as this product and other precautions that I often am too lazy to do.

I have a laptop from 5 years ago thats in about 100 pieces. Before I sold all my old gear I had enough to make 2 and a half full computers. Now I just have my 1 single computer, might need some upgrading for the new games soon though.

Why do you use a program?, why not just do a standerd backup?
