dose anyone kno any good tips for windows vista ?
or is anyone sticking to normal xp ?

little tip for vista,

1, don't get it yet
2, if you get it, keep xp on as well

Lots of programs are not working on vista yet, I have installed vista for customers and they have asked me to remove it after, so we have placed xp on the hard drive for free along with vista then in time they can just go to vista when there ready.

Other companies are also doing the same. It has just come out to fast, my brother installed it then went for virgin 10mb broadband but virgin or Microsoft didn't have anything for vista to make it work so they had to downgrade there broadband.

we have installed it on all of our 700 field users laptops at work, and it has caused nothing but legacy backward compatibility issues, like madkad said, keep a duel boot for times when you need a legacy program/ device.

i did the same not too long ago with ubuntu, cause i wanted the amazing interface, but the reliability of xp

it seems all ok . but its starting to peeeeee me off with that account control and everything eles everythink i open needs permission , sooo i took it of and put my old xp on again , and xp it alot easyier to use .

yer that is really stupid, I am sure there is a way of getting it to stop that, but couldnt tell you off the top of my head now

lol its still bad software though, think I will be sticking to xp pro for a long time. and just have vista as a help program so I can help others

It need minimum 1 gb ram, pantium 4 processor , good graphic card ...
we can also use a pen drive or say usb ... as a ram....
