its a benchmark, its like taking your car to a track to test its 0-60 time, exept this is for your computer.....basically it rates your computer with a points system....pretty cool graphics, you should download some of em, start with 3DMark2001

well i only have 3dmark01se on this computer (well a laptop) and with that i can scrape 17000 on a good day

This was a 40mb file, was getting bad speeds downloading it 10kb/s would of took ages.

My PC wouldnt of done well anyways, 64mb graphics :|
