well you got two options really, bit the bullet it is a new pc, expensive and with limited knowledge easyiest solution pay the fee and let them sort it.

On the other hand, you looking at opening it up. Ensuring all connections are being made and have not come loose at all.
Obvisouly sounds like a PSU problem. Though as a possible quick remedy it sounds like it may possible either going into hibernation mode or trying to come out of hibernation mode, which to be honest is a really crap feature of windows. So it may be worth checking shut down settings to ensure you are powering off prober and not powering down into hibernation mode.

In regards to software issues from the day it started palying around. Did you mess with any setting or install any software????

Or any power surgures, did it start to play up in storm????

Also can you post details of system specs, in particular Mobo

http://www.hwinfo.com/

Finally count any beeps that the pc makes when you boot up ! and post

hmm well afraid i would say got a dodgy PSU. Not too well up on the technical terms but basically from what i upderstand psu store power so as to be able to fire the inital burst(capictors or something), by the sounds or these are broke or not working, kinda like getting flat battery it not keeps it charge overnight.

Rip PSU out sent it back to them.

psu tend to be the same size atx, the biggest differnece is the output, basic is 300w, but a new pc with plenty attachments needs probaly 400w +

Also not many things matter when the name is concerned, except in psu. Also best if possible to go for a branded well named make. Though little more expensive better than a cheap one failing the volts

Also the types of connetions for you board are inportant ie sata pins, number of extions more the better
