How about not even to install them with Windows ?

nLite is a tool for pre-installation Windows configuration and component removal at your choice. Optional bootable image ready for burning on media or testing in virtual machines.
With nLite you will be able to have Windows installation which on install does not include, or even contain on media, the unwanted components.

NLite is a very nice tool to create your own customized bootable xp cd. I have created xp cd of 270mb removed all unnecessary drivers, and unnecessary programs. I have integrated my system drivers to it. It is a fully functional xp. It even runs fast compared to my original xp. There is no errors and all necessary programs are present. Using magic iso, we can create a multiboot cd or dvd containing windows 98, windows millenium, windows 2000, windows xp professional, windows xp home edition, reduced xp, windows 2003.
For vista similar kind of program is available. It is called vlite. I have not tried that program. I think it is similar to nLite.
