You are right. Its worth going for a laptop and I would prefer to have one. (ofcourse I already had one. But prefer going to a high spec laptop).
You can see laptops everywhere today. Colleges, cafe's, libraries.. everywhere.

laptops are now widily used and soon i expect the cell phones will be our favourit to surf net i use my cell phon sometimes it's a real fun and easier but high cost stopped me to surf net on my cell

Yeah most of the people are using cell phones for surfing the internet nowadays. But using internet on the cell phones is quite costly here. So I dont prefer that at the moment. But may be in future I might use it, if the prices go down.

I prefer surfing Internet with usual laptop/desktop cause the cellphone screen was too small and it will be hard to type in with cellphone cause the key pad just so small and I got a big finger and clumsy. Not to mention I better used the surf cost at cellphone to phone or sms my friends.

Laptop, beacuse it's so portable. I love the way to just pick up my laptop and go to my friends or something like that xD

Desktop...

You can buy desktops which are 2 times faster than laptops for the same amount if money!!!
They, are faster, more reliable, wont get lost, wont FALL.
Other than for ppl who have to work on computer everywhere they go, DESKTOP is the best option.

It is very hard to decide, I like laptops because they are portable and I like desktops because they are cheaper. I think I need to think this through lol.

There is no way to decide... although i love desktop for its power, cost, i have sometimes felt the need for a laptop. I think people ownomg a laptop must has felt it too?

I would prefer laptop because it is more portable. I can surf internet at any wifi centre for FREE and also play games wherever I am. The best part is laptop can be used anywhere at anytime especially when one is travelling.

But desktop computer is still important too but for me laptop is my first choice because of it's portablity.
