Default firefox vs opera

I was amazed just to read that Firefox is not very trustworthy and I have been using this and Opera has been mentioned as a better option a much better option.

I have it opened (opera) in another window just ready to install it instead but I wondered if anyone uses it and what can you say about it ?

I think Opera has many useful features than firefox. I use opera and I feel it is faster than firefox.

The only disadvantage with firefox as far as I know is that it remembers all the passwords that we logged in.... So in that sense people say it is not secure. Apart from that I think Firefox is the best browser....

The default value for not remembering passwords is Not Now. So, it does not automatically stores your passwords. You can also clear your Private Data. I think Firefox is much better than Opera.
