my pc is slow any sugestions

My computer is running slow what steps can I do to fix it?anyone give me sugestion for this problem?

Clear your "temp" files. Unisntall the programs that you don't want. Use the default theme(if Windows XP). Also use some tweaking tools.
This will surely help you.

Yes uninstall the programs that you are not using and clear up your internet temporary files. You can also can defragement your PC and leave it the whole night running.

If that doesn't fix your problem, you might have viruses, scan and delete them..if your pc after that is still slow, backup your files and reinstall your window.

Stop the unnecessary services. Stop unnecessary programs running in startup. Adjust your page file to recommended. Scan with a good antispyware and antivirus. If you have 2 antivirus uninstall one.

I think they all gave you already all the advice I had to give... if this doesn't work, I don't know what can.
Try defragment.

i think i posted a similar question under laptops since i use laptops but i think no one answered. lol... thank you for all your suggestions. ive already defragmented and cleared the internet temporary files and etc. can you give me examples of 'unecessary files' are in a computer? i thought all files installed in a computer are necessary

I don't think you play with system files, then you can safely delete files inside c:\windows\system32\dllcache If you are sacred don't delete, I usually delete it even though I 'play' with system files.
