Well, the short story is I have two drives, the c drive is full to capacity and the d drive is in place and in use, however, all microsoft/ windows is on my c drive and therefore, update are added there. For added information, I do not have the disc for microsoft/windows. This was a hand-me-down computer, which I have had for 3 years.
I have been trying to find out how to make my d drive my main c drive now and have not received a response as yet. Could you help? I am not conversant with computer language so should you reply could you take this into consideration. Thank you.

Hello there . it is possible to change it over . but you will not be able to do it while the computer is on and running because your programs will be running . the way i done it ages ago was i put my c drive into a differnt computer then coped from my c driver over to my d drive ., running it of a differnt operating system . but there is a problem doing this if u have set a password on your computer and made your files private they wont copy . thats the easy way i can say it but the best way is to download the driver for your computer if u aint already got them and find a xp cd . reformat it .
