Default dvi on sony pcv 406 problems

hi is it me or are the diplay connector & tv card sperate on this computer.As i recentky bought a flat screen tv & connected it to my computer with a dvi cable,now i realise whilst getting my computer on my tv i can not get the reverse.So after a lot of mucking about have realised the diplay connection is seperate from my tv card.The queston being can i connect the 2 just by using tv out on the display to s-vide on on my tv card,will this solve the problem or at worst will i have to get a new graphics card

hi xbox 360
my computer has two seperate slots one to attach your displays on then a giga pocket tv card the display slot has a vga, tv out, plus dvi .the giga pocket slot has vhf/uhf,s-video plus the 3 red white blue audio or what i call the rca audio.I hope this is clearer for you.Thanks for the reply.

hmm still a little confused sorry

the vga is for the pc monitor and the tv out is for the tv, then the rca audio and the s-video are for like a video player etc etc, so correct me if I am wrong, but you want to conect the tv and a monitor up if so then you should be able to, or if you want to use your tv as the pc screen this should also be able to be done with the tv out or even the s-video out to your video, dvd or digi box should make it play through your TV.

That is how it is connected all but the tv out & the s video cable, will i then be able to watch my tv thru my computer.As i have a dvi cable but it only works one way at the mo that is my computer is now on my new tv but i can not pick up my tv on my computer.
