Default Speaker or Headsets

I want to buy a Kenwood Sound System for my room if ever I have save enough for it. But as I went to look for a good type of Kenwood, I have crossed on the headsets that are like the ones pilots are using. I tried them on and it really feels good! Now I'm on decision making on what to purchase. Any good idea please?

go for head sets they block all out side sound and coulnt make the sound any better, also you can have it on nice and load

there isnt much to say really but if you go for speakers then a seround sound would be good but you would be better with a good sound card

Thanks for the advice! I didn't consider the sound cards in buying the speaker. I have built-in sound card in my motherboard and I guess the quality of it is not that good as the stand alone sound card.

yer the onboard sound out put will not be great sound to what a good sound card would be, so if you were going for good speakers then there wouldnt be much point in good speakers without good sound

MK is correct, even if you go with the cheapest sound card and only run 2.1 speakers at even a small output wattage you will do just fine, sometimes surrond sound is more to look at then you really need, I can rattle the house with 3 speakers and a decent card, so space is a thought when you are buying speakers...
