Default The best sound card on the market

What is the best sound card on the market? at the moment I am just using my onboard sound and I am thinking if it would be a good idea to buy a good one.

can any one give me some advise on this?

i picked up a creative sound blaster for like 30 bucks at best buy and im lovin it, my onboard sound was fuzzy so this fixed it. a great deal for 29.99.
