Thumbs up new motherboard

Salve a tutti,

e' un po di tempo (da quando mi si e' bruciata una MB PentiumIII) che
sono alla ricerca di qualcosa che consumi poco!

La vecchia piastra MS6309 con PIII 800 e 256MByte PC133 in idle (ACPI
C3) succhiava dalla presa-220 solo 20Wattsreali (misurati con un
wattmetro true RMS comprato da lidl). Ora ho messo sotto una Asrock
socketA chipset VIA con un Duron 1600 (downclockato a 1200 FSB 100 e
downvoltato a 1.1V) ma non riesce a scendere sotto i 40Watts in idle e a
100%busy arriva a 60Watts). Ho letto un po' in giro su cool'n'quiet ma
non si scende molto! Ho visto alcune piastre ITX (riescono a lavorare
anche con 15W) ma non hanno piu' di uno slot PCI e costano tanto.

Dove trovo documentazione su PC che consumano poco, i notebook che nulla
hanno da invidiare ai desktop spesso lavorano con 15-20 Watt di cui
parte servono per il DISPLAY LCD.
