| Hi, I just bought a PC with a Abit IC7-Max3 motherboard in it. After a few minutes the PC shuts itself down. The guys at the PC store cannot seem to find what the problem is but think it is the power supply. They think the standard case of 300W is insufficient. I do not know, why would I need more than 300W. I have a Radeon 9800 Pro hooked up to the board, and I cannot think of any other power eating device. Another issue I am having is that the PC sounds like a vacuum cleaner. I have asked the guys at the PC shop to put in a quiter fan, but is this normal? I would think this OTES cooling should be rather quiet, no? Regards, Jay | |||
