encoder will become famous soon enough
Default What's next?

After 1 gig DSL connection, what would be the next network connection type that will be offered in the homes?

I guess there are other networks that are far better than DSL but only used by companies and government agencies like the Military.

Verizon is setting up real fiber (FTTH) fiber to the home.

Although theirs is only 10 mbit, i have seen 100mbit FTTH connetions in Japan.

Then comes youse T3's , OC-12, OC-48...

But there is this like 1 gbit power line technology in Japan (Internet, not network)...

I can see T-1 in your home in the close future and we run T-3 here at work and its more then quick enough for our network with 1150 PCs running at one time...
