Default Optical Mouse

Isn't an optical mouse cool! But how useful can it get? It is wireless and you can use it from afar. Not that I work away from the monitor and keyboard often, but the optical mouse is pretty handy on occasions such as making selections from a music player. I guess the really important thing is that because it is wireless, the wire doesn't dangle.

I dont like the wireless ones to much my self as I sit on the computer for lots of hours a day and the batterys never last, I got one once for a test and it two days I changed the batterys 4 times. But once with a wire is great for me as I sit at a desk so the distence isnt much of a problem, but with it having no ball that is the best part as no more cleaning the mouse and this saves alot of time

A friend of mine has told me about this Logitech wireless mouse. The buttons can be customized for certain functions, it is much like a remote controller.

optical and laser wired mice are the most effective and accurate pointing devices currently... some offering 2000+ dpi... this comes in handy when you need precision in a game, or just for doing some cad work or what have you

with wireless you loose some of the precision and control that you normally would have with a traditional wired connection, this is due to the obvious factor that there is no solid connection, and you are going to have slight interruptions and interferences from time to time

lol im not sure if you guys were talking about the old ball mice up there ^ ... but who uses those haha??

Optical mouse is better than wireless ,If we use optical mouse then we don't worry about dust problem,It's working good,Wheel mouse create dust problem frequently also wireless(remote access) mouse create battery charge problem but optical mouse not create any one of this problem so i like to use always optical mouse at present situation...
Regards

+ if you read what you are saying ..... ugh, a wireless mouse can be an optical mouse

i believe you mean "ball" mouse creates dust problem, because the majority of optical and laser mice have "wheels" or scroll wheels as you were referring too ^

where do i start.... first of all wireless mice do not use a method of "remote access" referring to line of sight or infrared, rather it is a set frequency measured in Hertz. secondly, you keep on mentioning optical mice (referring to a wired optical mouse) as if there is no such thing as a wireless optical... most of the worlds wireless mice in production today, if not all, are optical

sorry to be so harsh on you here, but if your going to claim that you know what your talking about.... know what your talking about
