Default will tdk hurry up and release 1.4.....

About time they stopped adding their own efforts to the widcomm drivers and
released them. I tried the hacked version from other vendors and they work
fine, better than before.
So come on tdk, I just want some drivers I can bang straight onto my new
machine, hurry up plz....

I'll second that - except that the support for bluetooth mice/keyboards
doesn't appear to be all that great. More specifically (unless I've done
something wrong) you have to manually reconnect the devices each time you
restart/resume the PC - where with the Microsoft stack it automatically
finds the device in under 10 seconds.

If your primary interest is mouse/keyboard, I'd stick with the MS for now
until Widcomm gets it right. The rest of v1.4 seemed to be a general
improvement though.

Rgds,

I didn't have this problem - but I'm using TDK beta drivers.

Have you noticed with other drivers (hacked or not) if a laptop tries to
connect to another computer using the LAN Access service the server will ask
for authorisation? But even if you check that OK and KEEP it box, it'll ask
again every time after the next reboot?

I read it's by design, but it's annoying. It doesn't happen with Pocket PC
or Palm. It happens with laptops or LAN Access Points. I've reported this to
TDK.

If you look well, you'll find something about using the MS BT adapter and
other widcomm software in our forums.
