Default BT Headset with PC

Greetings,

I know this has come up many many times but I found something interesting
that I'd like some help with.

I have a Belkin BT USB adapter (F8T001) that is plugged into my Win XP PC.
Everything seems to work except BT Audio. I have a Plantronics M1500 headset
which works just fine with my Sony T68i. The Belkin is able to discover and
pair with the headset but it appears that there are no drivers installed for
BT Audio on the PC. I am running the latest Belkin drivers, 1.2.2.16. I have
been told that there are no audio profiles in this version of the Widcomm
stack, however, a closer examination of the installed SW indicates that
there is indeed a BT Audio driver file on the system.

Looking at the install file set it would seem that there are some audio
related files included. Perhaps they were simply not implemented? Any ideas
on what these files are for and how to get the actual audio drivers
recognized by the OS?

Thanks in advance
TC

The 1.2.2.16 version does not implement the headset profile in native mode,
but TDK had a way to use it - not nice, and involved some tweaking.

I was told by Belkin that they will skip the 1.3 version and put the 1.4
instead on their website sometime soon. This one supports headset (since
1.3) and HID (Human Interface - mouse, kbd, joystick).
