| Hi, forgive me if I'm re-treading old ground but can anyone out there help me connect my nokia 3650 to my win xp pc using an msi Bluetooth key? I have installed all the software and I cannot get it to connect to the nokia data suite or the msi phone manager software. If anyone can help me out or point me to an faq or website with some tips I would be very happy. Thanks, Kris. | |||

| Make sure the mRouter program is looking for the connection in the right place. Select only the Bluetooth SERVER COM Port in it. Next, open your Bluetooth Places, find the mobile phone and right-click. Select Connect to Serial. A connection will be established and cut just after this. You might get an error message. This is normal, just click OK. The phone will "call back" and connect to your COM Port, which is mapped to mRouter. You'll see the mRouter icon turn into a mobile phone. You can now open the PC suite and try to use it. Mind you: Devices must be paired Serial service in your computer must be enabled. Look in our site for more information and a forum with some discussion on this too. -- Mauricio Freitas Handhelds, mobile: http://www.geekzone.co.nz or http://www.bluetoothguide.com Bluetooth guides: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=449 "Kaos_Engine" <kaos_engine@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:be2aed$1kp$1@news8.svr.pol.co.uk... > Hi, forgive me if I'm re-treading old ground but can anyone out there help > me connect my nokia 3650 to my win xp pc using an msi Bluetooth key? | Hi, thanks, it seems to do that quick connect and trhen disconnect and reconnect but then after thinking for about 30 seconds the connection dies. Also for some reason I have about 8 bluetooth server com ports listed, I am very confused.
