Default Explain it to me like I'm a two year old.

Greetings,

I am still working out all the great things I can do with my T68i Bluetooth
phone and the Internet. I have figured out how to access Earthlink email by
making it my default email service and using the phone. I think I can get to
my other internet/pop3 email services if I just set them up.

What I'd like to do is to use Bluetooth to connect my laptop to the phone
and use the phone as a modem to the internet. What I am wondering is do I
need to use GPRS or GSM or can I simply dial-up the Earthlink number locally
and use it that way? I have tried the Earthlink dial-up and while the phone
does dial no connection is made so I suspect that I need to use my GSM or
GPRS service. Is there any reason to use one over the other? What kind of
speeds can I expect with this sort of hook up?

Thanks in advance
Tony Clark
