MSI Bleutooth transceiver- problem solution

After installing the (Widcomm) software for my MSI Bluetooth Transceiver key
(USB) on my laptop with W98SE, I ran into the following problem:

When connecting to my provider(s) via dial-up networking the connection(s)
were established succesfully, but there was no datacommunication. There were
no error messages, just a complete lack of activity.

I solved this problem in the following way:
Via the Control Panel, Windows Setup screen, I removed Dial-up Networking
from the communication area, rebooted and reinstalled it (and rebooted
again). After this my connections were behaving normally again.

This procedure did not delete any of my settings Dial-up networking (phone
numbers, logins, IP# etc...) but it might be advbisable to write these down
before trying the procedure.
