Hey All, I've got a laptop and a desktop pc and there are a lot of HUGE files on the desktop pc that I want to put on my laptop ( so I can reinstall windows on the desktop pc ), and someone told me, setup a network. So I tried, but somehow I can't get it to work  I heard someone say, it might be the fact that the network card in the desktop pc is not active ( on? ) how do I check this, can someone help me out with this annoying problem?

hmm i am not that up on networking lol what i would do to check your card is on or working i would click start >> control panal >> Network Connections it should have something in there | ||

hmm should be one of them try clicking on them one should be the internet and one should be the conection to the other pc, i might be wrong if i am i have another idea  | ||

you would need some sort of co0nection from the other computer so that the computer you are trying to contect it to can conect to something | ||
