you are trying to go from DB9 to USB? ... this is possible, but my question is why would you try to make a cable, when you could just buy one from a local computer retailer for about 20 or 30 bucks? Best Buy and Circuit City both sell such a cable, Radio Shack might as well.

If you want to be an absolute nerd and make one just to say that you made one, then im sure you can find a pinout somewhere on the interweb.

Honestly though, your going to spend just about as much on materials as it would be just to buy the freaking addapter
