Hi! My computer is nuts!! I Keep getting an error message and all my windows close. Also, it will freeze up a couple times a day for no apparent reason. My computer is also running very slowly. I got rid of several programs and it helped a little but still its super slow.

maybe your windows dosent working anymore.try to reinstall the windows

When a computer runs slowly there can be a number of reasons for it. I can give you somewhere to start and hopefully someone more technical minded at MK will steer you in another direction.

1. Desktop - get rid of all unnecessary icons, programs that do not need to be there at startup.
2. Temporary internet files and cookies - if you have not deleted these in a while then they certainly would cause your computer to slow down.
3. Defragment your hard disk.
4. Empty recycling bin.
5. Ultimately, you will be thinking there is a virus somewhere, so check that all virus protection programs are up to date and in working order and run a virus check.
6. I know this will probably go without saying BUT how are you for disk space, is there enough to run all that you have installed and downloaded? If not then you need a bigger hard drive, bigger rams, bigger processor..... in fact a new computer all together! I jest :-) Ignore (6)!! :-)

This is as far as I go I am afraid. However, I am sure that you will receive other responses that will help you further. I hope you locate the source of the problem fairly soon. :-)
