Read your manufacturers guarantee certificate. That will tell you how long it is expected to last. If it says 12 months guarantee then that is as long as they take responsibility for it to work correctly, any time after that is just borrowed time. Four years though is a long time by any standard for a computer! Normally, one would have upgraded, as I should when I get around to it!! :-)
