Default new motherboard problems

just installed new motherboard as rock alivenf6g-vsta 2 gigs of ram and am2 cpu 64 bit dual core when booted up it will not get passed the first post screen so it wont allow me to get into windows I know I have to do a windows repair and install the new drivers for the board but I cant get that far. I can enter the bios and everything is showing up in there what happens if I set the bios to default value ? all I have done in the bios is set the clock and date
