Garmin Voices.

Hi.

I have plenty of various voices for the TomTom, but are there any available
(freely or paid for) that will work on a Garmin Nuvi?.

Can't speak for the Nuvi, but my SP-2720 gives me
several choices (Jack, Jill & Karen in Amer. Eng.

My Nuvi 350 gives me several choices as well. Some with text to speech,
some without.

thanks for those comments. I was actually meaning the "alternative"type of
voices. EG John Cleese, Ozzy, Etc.

Hi there... These arent free but they have some great selections! Although... if people who downloaded would like to share, they are easy files to install AND email around.

They have voices like Arnold Swartzenegger, Yoda, Simpsons characters, Mafia, pimps, Habib the cab driver... Very funny stuff and yes, it works... I have installed them in several friends Nuvis and My C-550.

Also, for those of you living in the US and have red light and speed cameras AKA "revenue enhancement zones"
I highly suggest you go to POI Factory | new & interesting places for your GPS. For a fee of $20.00, you can get POIs downloaded of every speed and redlight camera in the nation. Its legal AND if you ever gotten one of these tickets, you know that this is a worthwhile purchase. You can also customize a voice to alert you of the cameras instead of the audile bell (which is great as well)
I'm not a solicitor, just a huge fan and I hate the fact that people get nailed by these cameras.
Yes, I agree that people should not run red lights and speed. However, (like my wife) some people get the shaft by getting stuck behind a bus in rush hour when it stopped abruptly in the intersection.
