Default position formats


Been saving all my waypoints in the format shipped from the factory. (Garmin
Venture).

If I'd switch formats would the waypoints be read out in the new format
also?

There is some Ventre-specific info on the GPS page of my website.
It's not clear what you mean by "saving"(e.g. on the GPS, on paper,
by using a program to download?), but changing the display format
(e.g. decimal degrees to degrees/minutes/seconds) won't change
how te GPS stores the data internally, nor how it communicates the
stored waypoints to an external program such as G7ToWin.
