| Hi I am looking to use my Ipaq 3660 with a mouse gps for my car. I am on a tight budget so could anybody tell me the absolute cheapest mouse gps they know of. I know performance will probably suffer but I really cannot afford an expensive option at the moment. Thanks David. | |||

Radio Shack has a headless GPS (I guess you'd call it a "mouse GPS") called "DigiTraveler" for $50. It comes with cables for several flavors of PDAs, one of which is an Ipaq (are all Ipaqs the same?) and Delorme software (one program runs on your PC and one on your PDA). I've only seen it on the shelf, so I have no idea how well it works, if at all. They may be discontinuing it, so you should probably move fast. -- Bert Hyman St. Paul, MN bert@visi.com

| don't know why you have such a low opinion of the mouse-type GPS receivers! In some ways, they are superior to the handheld units, in that you can place them on the dash of a car where they have the best view of the sky, since YOU don't have to be able to see them! As far as the receiver, I think they are as good as any other. I can't tell the difference between mine (by Rand-McNally) and my Magellan handheld. Both are great...... m9876c at yahoo dot com | |||

Hi David, take a look at our site for some reviews, I'm guessing your in the UK in which case GPSWarehouse (www.gpsw.co.uk) sell the Haicom GPS Mouse for £79.99. -- Darren Griffin Contributing Editor http://www.pocketgps.co.uk
