Help, new GPS user

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting started with my new Fortuna PocketTrack GPS
receiver. It's a Compat Flash receiver connected to a laptop using a PCMCIA
adapter.
I have installed the correct driver in Windows 2000 SP4. In the GPS
software, I've tried Fugawi 3 demo and VisualGPS I select COM3, 4800 baud
rate etc.

Both Fugawi and VisualGPS give me the position N 36 00.0000 E 720 00.0000
Altitude 0.00
I can see in both programs that there is some communication going on in
their log windows.

Both programs show incorrect time and date, 0 number of satellites. I have
also an external antenna but it doesn't help.

Please help me. Thank you.
