Creating route using a "via"

Hello all...
I'm using the new Mapsource Metroguide software, and would like to
know the easiest way to create a route using a "via". I want to use a road
that the autoroute function does not select.

To drag the route as Wayne has suggested in his second option, make sure you
have your cursor in "Selection Tool" mode. I agree with his choice as the
easiest way. Another option is to create or use existing waypoints for the
intersections or POI's you want to include, then insert those into the route
using the Route Properties (right-click the route in the Routes pane).
