Default mouse GPS gets really hot & location is not accurate

I have a holux GPS connected to a clie which is both powered with cigarette
lighter. both clie and GPS gets really hot after 30 mins use. Is this
normal?

Also my coordinates doesnt seem to be accurate since while im on the road
the indicator is moving off the side of the road in the map. I know it has a
few meters accuracy but it becomes a problem when I dont even know If im int
he right road especially when other roads are close and parallel to each
other. Is this normal? the icon indicator is also small in size and maybe is
also contributing in the accuracy.

pleas tell me if ths is normal

Sounds like a datums problem to me. Can you re-calibrate the map, or reset
the GPS datum?

Any comments on the heat prob on both gps and clie?
how can i fix this calibration prob? can i disconnect it from the
powersource so that the internal bnattery runs out and resets?
should i have done something when i first turn on my gps like maybe run
around in an open space or something?

And you posted this question to two binaries groups because...? Oh
yeah! No one taught you anything about crossposting!

Helpful comment: Crossposting to the wrong groups will result in the
direct opposite of what you seek. You will be flamed instead of helped.

And you are above it all because you did the same in the reply. Oh
