GPS

My mom has an in-dash GPS + DVD system from 2001 when it still cost $2000. (Acura RL).. pretty cool system, but out of my price range. However, I was in my buddies Tahoe the other day and noticed his Kenwood system.

What kind of GPS are out there that are a little more affordable these days? I think I'd like to have one of those new CD + GPS systems.

The only one i have is for my car computer and that cost me £40 and plugs into the usb, I love it.

Have you never thought of getting a car computer as you can start of cheap and add more stuff to it at a later date

car computer... yeah that might be a really good idea..

but your GPS sounds pretty extremely affordable! What kind is it?

erm i cant remember i will have to dig it out as its not in my car at the moment, my car was in a smash so its not been long back and i have to fit all my pc back it lol

ugh, car accident eh? thats a bummer. i've only had one serious one and even it wasn't that bad. I spend all day on the road too.....

An articulated lorry drove into the side of my car and the whole car had to get sorted

New roof, boot, wings, side and door then it got a full re-spray so I was quite pleased

yeah thats a good deal. when I got rear-ended it did $2000 worth of damage to my truck. I was really upset. However, there was this giant (like 12 inch diameter) dent on my driverside rear wheel well that I missed when I bought the thing. that made me angry too... but I spoke with the body shop and they agreed to do all the work for exactly $2000, the amount the insurance cut me a check for

Ummmm. I still feel that it is a new technology, and the price is still high. I also do not have much to go because I am traveling only nearby. Maybe I will look at it again when it is cheaper than this.

They will go down in price everything does in time soon I would have thought you could by a GPS system for a very low cost that will leave you cash to bern that hole in your pockets
