| Having failed miserably to find the answer using Google can anyone tell me if I can remove the above head unit to get to the back of the radio to plug in an iPod lead (this one if it makes any difference http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_p...o=AFOIPOD005)? Or do I need to buy the HU removal tools? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ADME:B:EF:UK:2 In days of old a bit of farting around with a couple of coat hangers would do the job . Cheers C | |||

| In answer to my own question in case anyone else Googles this and wants to know the same you maybe could do it without the special tool but they are 4 quid from halfords (European Radio Ramoval Keys) so why not get some. http://www.geocities.com/cnews05 and then follow the link to CD 6000 for some pics and words on what I found when I installed an iPod link in the Mrs' car. | Hey I owe you a pint C, I've been fiddling and goggleing all afternoon and not found anything useful. Using your guide I got it in 2 mins - it's easy when you know what it feels like :-) Thanks a lot Craig <cnews05@googlemail.com> wrote in message news:1168354664.153345.266130@m30g2000cwm.googlegr oups.com... > In answer to my own question in case anyone else Googles this and wants > to know the same you maybe could do it without the special tool but > they are 4 quid from halfords (European Radio Ramoval Keys) so why not > get some. > > http://www.geocities.com/cnews05 and then follow the link to CD 6000 > for some pics and words on what I found when I installed an iPod link > in the Mrs' car. > > Cheers > C > | |||
