| I know the amp is pretty simple but does anyone have a user manual for reference? Brought one 2nd hand but cant find anything on the web about the "fan" feature. How does the "fan" terminal work, remote on kinda switch? Wicked amp I must say. Cheers J -- .. | |||

AFAIK the fan is a positive output which you then ground yourself, not 100% sure though as the st60 I used didn't have one and it has gone to make way for a few old RF amps instead. Just go to www.genesis-ice.com and email them , I would of thought Gordon would happily send you a manual, he sent me one. Very helpful company who deserve success.

It's a variable voltage output proportional to the amp's temperature, just connect your fan between that terminal and ground. It'll spin at a speed related to how much cooling is needed. I don't remember seeing any specification about maximum load; I'd guess one or two fans wouldn't be a problem though. > Wicked amp I must say. Yes, they are, aren't they ? You should try some of their bigger ones :-) Steve.

| Without a doubt Genesis are the champions of the premier league in car audio, a bit like Nakamichi head units. All hand built too, if Im not mistaken. I have heard a setup with a Genesis amp and still have dreams about it, it was soo pure. | haha.....one step at a time as these amps good they are but a fortune they do cost! I have a friend who has his car kitted with genesis amps and I must say very impressive indeed. I have a soundstream usa305 powering my front MB quart speakers. How much difference would the SQ be if the genesis replaced the soundstream? How would you rate soundstream amps on a scale of 1 to 10 if genesis was 10. Thanks Jim -- ..
