| Hi, I upgraded the OEM radio in my Ford KA to a nice Sony Xplod CD player. I was thinking about adding a CD changer, can I buy any one I see for sale, or does it have to be compatible with the KA or CD player? I was thinking about getting a Sony Xplod one. I guess it'll live in the boot? Is it worth swapping the speakers for better ones? or are the OEM ones pretty good already? Again, what size and type of speakers should I look for? Thanks for your suggestions, as you can probably tell, I don't know much about cars or car audio -- Joe Woods (jwoods@suomi24.fi) | |||

You will need a suitable sony CD Changer which will cost you around £100 if you shop around. > > Is it worth swapping the speakers for better ones? or are the OEM ones > pretty good already? There are a few that will drop straight in , but my recommendation if you don't want to spend too much would be kenwood 6893's which will set you back around 35 quid from MCS direct. I had them in mine and they were a noticable improvement over the standard ones. -- Alex SRX 400 "I laugh in the face of danger" "Then I hide until it goes away" www.drzoidberg.co.uk | |||

| Thanks for your replies! Are you sure the KENWOOD KFCC6889IE will be suitable? They're described as 6x8", but I think you mentioned the original speakers are 5"x6" | |||
