Some of my plans for my car computer

After having a crash in my car I had to remove the car computer (the crash wasn’t because I was typing on the pc) and now I am getting ready to fit it all back in.

The good thing about it is that I really didn’t like my old style of the way I fitted it, so this time I am going for the full job. My plans are to have a boot floor placed in the boot higher and fibreglass all the sound system in to the boot that would be:

2 x 12” subs
3 amps
2 x 6b 9s

and lots of other stuff, I will have all my GPS system and MP3 and 8 point controller. But my big plan is because all the boot will be higher all the sound system and the computer that is in a acrylic case will be under the fake boot floor with acrylic windows to see it all light up, but the best bit is that I am thinking of doing it so that the floor splits in the middle and rises open like doors then stay up, this way I have a boot and a good looking install.

I will update this thread with my pictures and what I am doing etc etc. that way people that want to know how things are done then they can learn from me. If any of you have any questions or ideas please say I would love to help and here your thoughts.

LOL it will be costing more than that I would say its cost about nearly that already and I havent finished , My plan is to have the car pc as part of the security system, but time will tell.

the main reson I am doing it is because we will be using the car for our Mad Kad biz as a show car but dont tell anyone lol

well I will tell you a little more about the 8 point controller, this will be built in the pc so that the pc can controll parts of the car, and because the computer is voice activated I am hoping to have the controller on the voice as well, so that when I say lights my car lights come on and lots of other things.

I am looking into doing it so that the car will only start when I place in a code on the pc screen then the car will start and say "Hello Karl" but there just bits for fun.
