| Banned | Cost The Ds wins this time. The Psp costs around £175 wheras the Ds can be found for just over £100. (These are average prices found in April 2006, prices may change) Portability PSP dimensions are 170mm x 74mm x 23mm and weighs in at 260g. The Ds measures 148.7 x 84.7mm X 28.9mm and weighs 275g making it shorter and heavier. The PSP will fit nicely in your pocket but the screen will be protected on the DS (although covers are available for the PSP.) Playability Both consoles have good specs, but what use are good specs if they have to games? Straight away it's obvisous that the PSP have a better selection of games but that could all change. Connectivity On both consoles you can play online agaist other players. But on the PSP there is also a flash memory stick and a USB 2.0. Features The PSP is not just a games console, you can view movies and pictures and even browse the internet. But the DS has a totch screen which could make games more exiting. It's down to which you prefer. So now we've compared the features which will you get? | ||

| MK PitStop Member | I love my PSP too.. lucky me I can run homebrews (v.1.50). Although I must say... battery life is NOT the strong point of the PSP... I get 3-4 hours, 6 hours if im listening to music. | ||

| MK PitStop Member | rrrr.... Can't wait to get 1. Just looking at the picture of the PSP, makes me crave for it. I just hope I could get PSP as soon as possible for when I have the means to buy PSP, there might be another game console that is more sophisticated and more enjoyable to play that will be released. | ||

| Member Level 3 | I had a psp, unfortunately I needed some cash and had to sell it. I'm hoping to replace it someday. I was thinking of getting a DS next time, but after reading the comparison I may just go for a psp again. Wonder if xbox will ever come out with a handheld? | ||

| Member Level 3 | PSP all the way! Although I have lots of complaints about it (battery life, fragile screen, pricey games), I don't like the DS at all. Besides, the PSP fits me as an uber multimedia geek as well. Now, not being mugged while playing either on the road is definitely another question... | ||

| Member Level 1 | The Sony PSP is not only a games console but its also a media centre allowing you to play music, videos and view pictures and is apart of one of the worlds largest gaming community the Playstation Network allowing you to play online and download the latest PSP demos and content. By far the PSP is the hand held leader on the market. | ||
