"Tenchu: Time of the Assassins" has been officially announced and slated for the PSP before the end of the year. Yay!

Story Mode per character still seems to be the main course, but it's going to offer the return of the 'free play' mode that houses more than 40 missions! It's also incorporating the ole Tenchu II Mission Creator for endless gaming! Thanks a lot, From Software! Developers say there still won't be any shortage of blood

I've never heard of Tenchu... Sounds fun though.

Tenchu... it's the game where you take on the role of an assassin, and the main objective of the game is to stay as stealthy and hidden as possible. This is not a modern game where black suits and nightvision can help you out - all you got is your ninja skills, your blades and a bunch of other primitive yet effective ninja weapons.

The fun part here is the assassination scenes... it's when you kill someone via melee without them noticing it - whether it be throat-slashing, beheading or a fatal thrust.
