Yes. They've got them for sale in Gamestation.

I never realised I'd never seen a 3rd party wireless pad for the 360.
Maybe MS should have offered to make the guitar for them in that case.

Anyone know why? Isn't this anti-competitive?

? It's MS's IP, why should they let anyeone else near it?

The whole world doesn't run on open source you know!

Indeed, but it's a feature of the hardware which they need to have
support for from 3rd party devs. They could keep the entire system to
themselves but it wouldn't get them very far in the marketplace if there
were no 3rd party games.

I don't understand why MS wouldn't release the details other than to
prevent competition. But this just means consumers suffer because games
like Guitar Hero are unable to be wireless.

Hence my initial question about it being anti-competitive. I'm sure it's
nothing they aren't allowed to do, but that's not really the point.

Saw them in HMV yesterday but they only had them for the PS2, no sign of a
360 one tho.

Well, the ones in my local were also being sold as part of a 360 package
(360/GHII+guitar/wireless guitar), so I'm assuming they were the 360 version.
