| So far the only games I actually own are: Halo, JSR and Timesplitters 2. Are there any must buy games for Xbox? So far most of the games I've played have been very disappointing compared with the selection on PC, Game Cube and PS2 games available. Gareth. | |||

| Well i own all the big 4 plus a PC. The Xbox is defitnely the weakest in terms of must have games. Thats not to say i don't like the Xbox, i do, just that in terms of good games available it lags behind. I think its fair to say that the best game on the format is Halo, and that was one of the initial releases. Not good. Anyway, apart from Halo (best game on Xbox) and JSRF (good, but could have been better, check out the DC's JSR for how it might have been.) I would suggest you get : Panzer Dragoon Orta - on rails shooter with loads of atmosphere Moto GP - best motorbike game on any format (yes, that includes Moto GP2) Gun Valkyrie - controls that take time to master, but a beauty of a game Quantam Redshift - unbelievably underated racing game Tekki - if you can afford the setup There are a few others worth a rent, but in my imo thats it. Now the real reason for owning a Xbox is the arcade emulation. MAME (bit flaky, but getting there) and FBA (perfection) mean you can play all the old classics from the past. In fact because of FBA i probably use my Xbox as much as my other consoles. ---SBD "Gareth Davies" <hotmail.com@dgareth.spm> wrote in message news:TdZPa.48636$xd5.2639602@stones.force9.net... > So far the only games I actually own are: Halo, JSR and Timesplitters 2. | I'm currently hooked on Moto GP using Xbox live. I also own Moto gp 2 but I'm having too much fun with the first version, being that I've gone through all of the Grand Prixs on it and created the ultimate custom bike. Maybe when/if I get bored with it I'll then go onto Moto GP 2 - definately more realistic but no as fun imho.
