As I understand it you can (theoretically) make as many duplicates for your own personaly use as you want. You own the right to use the software, not strictly the media it is on. However you only have the right to us one copy of the software at a time and (really good this bit) nobody else has the right to use it, unless they have bought it themselves. So it is effectively illegal for you to use two copies of the same software at once (unless both are purchased) and it is also illegal for somebody else to use a copy of your software unless the have bought a copy themselves, so unless explicitely stated otherwise split screen gaming is actually illegal! - Ian S | |||
