Yep the platforms were intersting for the first couple of goes, then
annoying. The orb was alright took it out in 3 attack flurries after
wiping out the waves of undead it summons.

Same here, but on co-op we had to endure 6 waves of undead, and still
didn't beat the orb. Didn't help that the missus kept getting killed
tho I gave up on the 2 player at this point and continued with my
single player campaign.

They keep coming till you destroy the orb.

Yep, first time I got killed on the 4th wave. 2nd attempt I managed to
finally destroyed the orb after the 2nd wave. Just do lots of hitting
the orb, kill a few undead, hit orb e.t.c.
