Halo DS coming next week!

There's no way a DS is going to approach an Xbox game in appearance.
They can barely get it to do N64 graphics.

They'd have better luck porting the fan-made Halo 0 (which would even
work with the touch-screen.)

Microsoft may have some future plans with Nintendo.If this imformation
is correct.Who knows! Maybe a joint venture between
Microsoft and Nintendo.Or Nintendo some time down the line becomming
part of the Microsoft empire.
I tend to think maybe a joint venture might be down the road between
the two companies.After all. Why would Microsoft allow
the Halo franchise to be played on a competitors game system.It's
either a practical joke,or there is a good reason to allow the
game to be played on the DS.Microsoft could make its own handheld if
it wanted to.Then put Halo on it.Maybe Microsoft wants to become
allies with Nintendo to reach out to the casual gamer and the kiddies.

Halo was the game that defined the XBOX.It is to XBox as Mario is to
Nintendo.As Sonic was to Sega
until they got out of the console business.

Depends on how you define "Microsoft". Rare, a company that had a pre-
existing relationship with Nintendo before they were bought by
Microsoft ported Diddy Kong Racing from the N64 to the DS.

You can't extrapolate that to mean that Bungie is doing Halo for the
DS.

Who says they are competing.Maybe its a courtship,with a potiental
commitment
further down the line.Hmmm, maybe 360 Wii has more meat to it than was

Nope. Mech Assault and Age of Empires were licensed through a 3rd
party and published by Majesco. Other than owning the license
Microsoft was not involved.

Like Age of Empires DS, MechAssault DS is being handled by Backbone
Entertainment/Digital Eclipse, with Majesco taking care of the
publishing duties.
