| OK I know this is a massive point of contention, but has there actually been a conclusive, categorical, final answer by Bungie as to whether or not there will/won't be a Halo3, regardless of what the ending of Halo2 says or implies?Do we know either way? And even if we did, should we believe what Bungie say ever again, given the absolute farce that is Halo2?? LOL | |||

| No, there are no final promises, but considering the way they ended Halo 2, if they didn't make a third they'd lose huge popularity for any future games they made. And anyway, Halo 3 would make a HUGE amount of money for both them and Microsoft, so I think it would be well worth it for them to do it. | true, but are we to believe Halo2 took 3 years to make? Because frankly it seems unfinished, as in rushed and not really thought through properly. So why should Halo3 be any different? If you ask me, it's almost like Bungie are tiring of the Halo franchaise and just wish it would end so they can work on something else. | I don't find it at all unfinished. The game seems very polished to me. And what wasn't thought through in your opinion? If you mean the way the plot ended, I found that fine. I certainly wasn't expecting a resolution. Why because at the end of the third week of the us release of halo 1 bungie said that there would be no sequal to it this was a lie because now we have halo 2 this is because Microsoft inacted a part of their contract with bungie that stated in the event that a minanum of 65.9 million $ were made on the first game bungie could be forced to create a sequeal or the rights to the game would be infered to Microsoft.... so this is why we have halo 2 I think the same thing will happen for halo 3.. >>>> email me at amorga07@columbiaschools.org if you have any questions. | |||
