Default Buying a new TV - Widescreen

How does Halo 2 play on a widescreen TV? For that matter how are XBox
games in general on a widescreen?

I mostly want a widescreen for watching movies, but I play a fair amount
of games as well.

Opinions appreciated.

Play fine on my lowly 28" Thomson

2 player splits side by side and that almost gives a full normal telly each

Have a Sony 60" XS, couldn't be happier with any Xbox game on it.

I am running 76 cm 100 mhz windscreen with xbox and it looks awsome. I was a
bit concerned that xbox might not have enough video grunt to run it,
especially in graphics intensive games, but all is well.
Hope it helps.

I use a 32" JVC CRT, absolutely no probs at all. Also have my XBOX via
advanced scart thru my home cinema kit and this is absolutely awesome.
Widescreen and Digital sound is perfect.

I run a Mistubishi 55" HDTV with the Xbox advance A/V pack and 5.1 optical
for audio. Halo 2 could not look any better...
