| I had a guest playing Halo 2 online with me the other night. He brought over his headest and module, but he couldn't speak/hear through it. The speaker icon next to his name in Live showed it as if it was disabled. I thought Guests could do this? Anyone want to enlighten me? Joe | |||

| So it is possible to take your live account with you and play with your gamertag on multiple machines? If so, how is this done? Sorry if this is a stupid question. | I don't think its a stupid question, I was wondering the same thing myself. I've read multiple postings etc. but can't get official word. Bungie states that you can have one gamertag with up to 3 guest accounts. So am I correct in assuming that two seperate gamertags can't play on the same xbox at one time? | I do believe it isn't a problem to have 2 gamertags signed in to one Xbox at the same time provided they both exist on the xbox. What I'm not sure about is this: Can I create my Xbox Live account on my Xbox, and then somehow take my account with me to a buddy's house so we can both play Xbox Live using our seperate gamertag? So basically, can I play with my own gamertag on multiple Xboxes? Thanks in advance, Rob "Joe Martin" <joeymartin@gmail.com> wrote in message news:7d3pd.184587$Np3.7474548@ursa-nb00s0.nbnet.nb.ca... >I don't think its a stupid question, I was wondering the same thing myself. > > I've read multiple postings etc. but can't get official word. | You need a memory card. Just go to xbox settings and copy the account to the card and then on the other machine do the oposite. Doing this will also allow you to play in ranked games. The ranked/guest stuff is BS but its the only way to get it working. | Thanks Bill! I figured it may work with a memory card, but wasn't positive that the Live accounts weren't tied to a specific machine. That's good to hear. I'm assuming that two accounts signed in can play in the team ranked games, but probably not the head-to-head or rumble pit, right? Doing so could open up things to lots of cheating, so I'm guessing bungie won't allow that. Thanks again, Rob "Bill" <msgdev@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:ufsfPjk0EHA.3704@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... > You need a memory card.
