| Yes, it is possible. I'm not exactly sure how, having never really looked into the matter, but I don't think it's that hard. Get a USB adapter and go online and search for it. If you're using Mac OS system 10, it should download everything for you when you connect the controller to the USB port. | The adapters usually come with a floppy with the mac drivers. Both of mine did. *But* just don't do it. You're losing a great deal of playing enjoyment when you use a console controller for an FPS. Adjust the mouse speed so you can glance behind you, and still aim, then play this way for maybe five sessions, and you'll realise why mouse and keyboard is better. The console controllers are great for games like Mutant Storm, because they were written for them. Go on, give it a chance. Hundreds (is it thousands now) of professional (I'm not kidding - they get sponsored to play in tournaments) FPS players can't be wrong. You won't see anyone in the ranks using a console controller. Best wishes LJ Devala Rees wrote: > Yes, it is possible. I'm not exactly sure how, having never really looked > into the matter, but I don't think it's that hard. | For Halo, I agree. It's not worth the trouble installing a controller. Get good at keyboard/mouse and use it. | It's not just not worth it, it would be downright wrong. Installing the controller is easy. You'd be missing out on a great deal of freedom of movement if you used it with any FPS. I am a 6 year keyboard mouse person, and I would venture to say I'm pretty damn good with it; but I play frequently at a friends house 1 v 1, and I am just terrible at the (horrible...) controller. And I just wasn't gonna go the route "If I had a keyboard and mouse...". So I needed the practice. | |||
