Well I beat it.

That final segment was a pain in the arse. Great game though, plan to
play through again right away.

Yeah - if you go back to the start of the flood bit, you'll probably
find you get through it much more easily - I remember the "Objective:
escape!" bit being really tough, but going back it was easy, cos I'd
learned to use the weaponry efficiently.

That is one of the beauties of the game. heroic and legendary require much
better use of the various weapons, inc. grenades, and, of course, tactics.

((Ok, so that applies to just about all games!!)
