| Hello all. I'm a US service member (USAF) stationed overseas in Turkey. My cablenet provider costs me upwards of $45/month for 64KB service; price goes to $90/month for 128K service (I can't justify doing this). I've been crawling all over the web trying to find the definition of a "high-speed ISP" according to XBox Live advertising, but I can't find anything. My question: can I get into XBox Live with this 64K connection that doesn't appear to run that fast all the time? Thanks for your time... Rich (Please don't reply via e-mail ... dead address) | |||

| Rich, See http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/connect/providers.htm and http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/connect/providers.htm and finally give the Xbox Support team a call. The number is on the web site. -- Regards, Mike -- Mike Brannigan [Microsoft] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights Please note I cannot respond to e-mailed questions, please use these newsgroups "Rich" <rseifertweb@earthlink.net> wrote in message news:75639161.0401172338.6f3222c2@posting.google.c om... > Hello all. | I have ISDN running at 64K, and whilst it's easily fast enough to play Project Gotham Racing, it can't seem to handle shooters such as Ghost Recon. In short, try to use a free trial offer of some sort (2 months free with PGR2) to see which games will and won't work at your data rate. | |||

| I have a 96k cable connection and once tried a 64k connection and live works on both of them. Live does not run perfectly but its ok to me. By the way I'm in South America (Ecuador) and connections may say they are 96k but they are a lot slower in reality. Try the 2 month free trial, see if you provider, modem and game play work You got nothing to loose.
